Great primitive camping spot - that is FREE -with tent pads, tables, lantern hooks. A couple of sites could accomodate fairly large RVs. Forest Road is in great condition. Access to bottom end of Glen Falls trail, as well as Pickleseimer Rockhouse Falls. There are additional super-secluded spots off the spur FS roads (including 2 waterfalls you can see from the road)

Evidence of bear activity, but never had an issue, ditto with coyotes, so be aware and practice safe food storage. Place is insanely clean - carry out your trash. Bring in your iwn water. Tons of wood if you bring your ax, saw and some elbow grease.

I was there Labor Day weekend - beautiful weekend, at least half the sites were unoccupied. FYI I have a spotty signal (no data) at the T where the kiosk is

Great car camping spots and trails.

Nice campsites with fire ring and tables and some gravel tent pads. We stayed 1 night and it was very quiet. Forgot some tent stakes when we stayed Oct 29th in a red bag at the first site on the right after the road comes to a "T".
