Hidden at the edge of a very touristy small North Carolina town in a small retail strip in the middle of the application mountains I found a hidden treasure. I'll admit I was sceptical at first but to my surprise it was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had, and mind you I am no amateur. Try the hot salsa with the tortilla chips (you have to ask for it) mix it with the medium salsa for a unique taste combination.

Just an awful experience! It was unclear who was waiting on us..ends up really no one was. The people beside us arrived after us, ordered, got their beer, waters and food before us. Our "server" came out as they were about to leave asking us to confirm our order??? There were just two of us? We never got water, they never checked on us, I had to go inside two times to ask for drinks...and to pay...finally they brought my husband a drink but by then we were done eating. Food would have been good if the service was not so awful! I think they were more interested in cleaning up than serving us!? Who is in charge there?? Seems no one...we won't be back....
This place has gone down hill lately. Menu has been cut back severely and quality is not as good as it was. We will be checking out the competition for a while.
